Checking the Settings on Your Mobile Device

An incorrect setting on your mobile device can prevent successful registration of your Remo+ device to the network. Here are some things to check before you begin.

Android

Go to SETTINGS>APPS & NOTIFICATIONS (or APPS)> and find the Remo+ app and tap it. Then tap “Permissions”, then tap “Location” and verify that it is set to “Allow only while using the app”

Go to SETTINGS>LOCATION and verify the “Use Location” is “On”.

iPhone

Go to SETTINGS>REMO+ and verify that you have the following settings:

  • Location – “While Using app”
  • Local Network – “On”
  • Microphone – “On”
  • Camera – “On”
